Sunshine’s Hotdogs

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Shanin, known as Shay to friends and Sunshine behind the cart, has always carried an entrepreneurial spark. She started selling lemonade at age seven, ran a hot dog cart as a teenager, and years later when a friend encouraged her to revisit that dream, she listened. In March 2025, she walked away from the corporate world, built Sunshine's Hotdogs from scratch, and brought YouTube along for the entire journey. Her channel crossed 120,000 subscribers in under a year. Beyond the business, Shanin routinely feeds Jacksonville's unhoused community, because for her it has never been just about the hot dogs. It is about the people, the community, and making life a little sunnier one grilled dog at a time.
