Elam Park is a brand new publicly funded community park located in the southwest corner of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, behind Aspen Creek Elementary near Florence and Aspen Avenue. Opened in October 2024, Phase 1 of this 53-acre destination park was funded by a $3 million allocation from the 2018 General Obligation Bond and features a fully inclusive and accessible playground designed to accommodate children of all ages and abilities, including wheelchair ramps, adaptive swings, sensory play elements, outdoor musical instruments, and a tree grove picnic area. The park is the first of its kind in Broken Arrow and stands as a landmark achievement for the city's Parks and Recreation Department, with future phases planned to include a community center, splash pad, skatepark, nature pond, and baseball fields. It is free to the public and open every day from dawn to dusk.
